A Glimpse of Eastern Washington

Suite101 e-Book A Glimpse of Eastern Washington
Introduction

Washingtonians view eastern and western Washington as two separate places, geographically, economically and politically. Since the largest population is in western Washington, eastern Washington sometimes gets ignored or mentioned but briefly in the media; eastern Washington media, likewise, leaves out the western part of the state rather regularly on some issues.

I’ve compiled some articles previously published at Suite101.com, in this book to bring eastern Washington to the playing field. I’m not covering politics or economics; these are articles that bring the flavor of some small eastern Washington communities to the forefront. This is a taste of life on the east side. Come with me as we travel eastern Washington and see what you’ve missed. There’s a whole ‘nother world out there!
