Introduction
For sixth months Dawn Rizzoni took up the gauntlet of Pro-Life at Suite101. Controversial though the topic was, and certainly still is, she put 100% of herself into explaining her reasons for being Pro-Life, and arguing the case against Pro-Choice.
As a pregnant teenager, Dawn struggled with the difficult decision to keep her baby. When she embarked on what she thought would be the simple task of finding pre-natal care, she was turned away at conventional birth & birth control clinics. The experience set her on the path of staunch Pro-Life advocacy.
Some of what you read in this anthology may be disturbing to you, because Dawn has never taken a light approach to the issue. Vivid testimony, graphic detail, and impassioned opinion are the foundations of much of Dawn's writing. That said, this technique is part of what makes these articles so riveting, and so effective.
Whether you are Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, it is my hope that you will find the articles in this anthology as thought-provoking as I do. Dawn brings to the analysis of the politics and ramifications of the pro or anti abortion movements a truly personal touch.
