What do two online friends from opposite cultures who love poetry do? Write a poetry book! Other Side of the World is the debut poetry book by these two friends, Aurealis-Award winning/prolific children’s author Sally Odgers and six-time Dana Literary award-winning poet/professional writer Sara Webb Quest. The book, using experimental, sonnet, acrostic and other poetry forms focuses on subjects like love, fantasy, food, sex and the burgeoning, sisterly relationship between two women whose only communication has been through the written word.
