| Introduction
I’d like to take this first opportunity to introduce myself to everyone and share some of my thoughts on Reiki. I am a Master/Teacher of the Unlimited Reiki System of Natural Healing. Those of you who are already familiar with Reiki healing already know that there are many forms of Reiki available. As many forms of Reiki as there are, there are thousands more people practicing in their own unique ways. In today’s time, there is no one right or wrong way to practice Reiki as long as you are practicing ethically.
Different Reiki Systems
I can’t begin to go into detail on all the different systems of Reiki that are out there today. As I’ve spoken to different people using different forms of Reiki, I’ve also discovered that Reiki is Reiki, plain and simple. There are those out there who want to be attuned to every different type of Reiki, learn hundreds of different symbols, and basically have 20-30 different certificates hanging on their wall. Is all this necessary? Absolutely not. Reiki is Reiki is Reiki, plain and simple. I believe that if you know how to use Reiki at all and are practicing any form of Reiki, you don’t need to know several different systems. If you are channeling Reiki through you for a healing, you’re using Reiki. Reiki is the same no matter what system you use to turn it on.
Attunements & Learning Reiki
There are also a vast number of ways to get attuned to Reiki and become a Reiki practitioner today. You can use the traditional approach and find a teacher in your area who will attune you to their system and continue teaching you everything you need to know. You can also be attuned via distance with a one-on-one attunement from a teacher. There are also people sending mass attunements via distance, as well as people performing self-attunements and practicing Reiki. Self-attunements do lack one vital tool, in my opinion, and that is the teacher who can share their knowledge with you about Reiki.
A Little About Me
I am very open-minded in my Reiki practice. I don’t necessarily agree with some of the practices out there, but it is not my place to judge. I am simply here to share all the information I can possibly find about Reiki. I promise to stay objective. I live strongly by the Reiki precepts and principles. I do my work honestly, I have faith that Reiki will know what to do even when I don’t, I respect everyone else’s right to live their life as they want to, I trust the universe to guide me in my work, and I am at peace. Reiki holds a dear and very powerful place in my life.
